Wedding

Ju and Jessica's wedding 11/01/2008.
Here are a couple of pics from Ju and Jessica's wedding. It was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect and the couple was happy. Can't ask for too much more. I am super happy for the both of them. Jessica is great and I'm excited that she is a part of our family!

More Halloween

Madelyn dressed as a little clown for Halloween. A man walking down the street asked me if she was a spotted cow. Um no, she's a clown!! A clown that likes to drool!

First real injury

October 15
Gaby and Lili were were playing around the table climbing on and off the bench. Gaby somehow slipped and fell off the bench and split her lip open. Well, not her lip, but the crease in her lip...the corner of her mouth. I cleaned her mouth up and got the bleeding to stop. Jeff said it looked like she needed stitches and I said no she looks fine. During this time, I was getting ready to head off to work and my stomach had been feeling upset all day. I then went to work and Jeff called me and said he was going to take Gaby to Urgent Care because her lip wasn't looking too good. He took her to one Urgent Care and they sent him to Children's Urgent Care who then sent him to Children's ER. Long story short, I came home from work early because Lili was at my moms house throwing up and Madelyn was sick too. I went to get them and Jeff got there with Gaby. She had to get 4 stitches and was very brave. The doctor told her he needed to put something over her eyes to block the light, but she told him "no I just want to see my daddy". The hospital gown makes it look a bit more dramatic then it was. But the reason she is in the gown is because she threw up all over her clothes in the ER. FUN HUH?? Then I got super sick and it was a very, very long night. Jeff was Super Dad and Super Husband because he had to take care of 4 sick girls. Then he got sick. But the next day we were all better and life continued as it normally does! Gaby had her stitches taken out 10 days later and her boo boo healed wonderfully.

Madelyn starting sitting up by herself on October 11. She fell down a couple of times but shortly got the hang of it.
The only times she will lay down for now are eating and sleeping.

Look at me sitting up

I think I got it.....

I'm falling.....

Shortly before we left the "old house" Gaby and Lili really wanted to show off their artistic abilities. They colored a wonderful mural on the family room wall. I bet you are wondering where their mom was while all this coloring was going on. Well I'll tell you, I was actually on the phone and I stepped out of the room for a few short minutes...literally a few minutes. I realized that it got quiet and went to check on them and TA-DA!!!!! Apparently artists like to work in silence. Note to self, nothing good is happening when children are quiet.

The Big Move

We bought our first house!! Gaby and Lili were big helpers during the move. We don't have any pictures of the new house yet because it is still too messy. We are now in the Beavercreek ward and we are super excited to be there. Every time we tell the girls that we are going home, the girls insist that we are not going home we're going to the new house. Then they say, "the new house is our home". That is literally what they say every time we say we are going home! Here are some pics of the girls "helping" us pack.
Out go the pots and pans...in go Gaby and Lili!
